All are welcome at our sports injury clinic in Bromley. People come to us for sports massage, deep tissue massage, spinal manipulation, medical acupuncture and cupping, and every appointment starts with an assessment rather than a standard routine. We believe patient learning is the most powerful method of staying on top of your symptoms, diet, exercises, treatments and injury prevention.
Your treatment is with one of three therapists. Dharam Vyas, clinic director, studied BSc Applied Sports Science at Southampton Solent University and is also trained in spinal manipulation and medical acupuncture. Atlanta Robinson graduated from the University of Essex with honours in Sports Therapy and has years of clinical experience across sports facilities and private clinics. Dwaine Henderson holds the Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and works across the full range of soft tissue treatment.
Every appointment starts with an assessment rather than a standard routine, so you know what is going on before anyone puts hands on you. There is more about the team on our about us page.
Every patient is different, so every treatment is too. There are three phases.
One: find out what is actually wrong. We start with an initial consultation or a free posture analysis. The therapist assesses how you move and explains the reasoning behind your pain. A posture photograph is taken and analysed with markers so you can see for yourself what your posture looks like, then we talk you through a plan before any treatment begins.
Two: reduce the pain. Regular hands-on treatment paired with exercises you do between appointments. This is the part most people think of as the treatment, and it is also the part that works fastest when you do the exercises.
Three: keep it from coming back. The therapist adapts the treatment and the exercises to correct what caused the problem in the first place, so the aches do not simply return in a few months.
Most people book because something specific is stopping them, not because they woke up wanting a massage. These are the problems we treat most often at our Bromley clinic. Each page explains what we look for during the assessment, what treatment involves and what you can do between appointments.

Every appointment starts with an assessment, so the treatment fits the problem rather than the other way round. If you are not sure which you need, start with our guide to massage in Bromley.
Massage treatments start at 45 pounds for 30 minutes, acupuncture and cupping at 40, and a 10 minute posture analysis is free. See full prices or how we work.
You do not have to know. Book a free 10 minute posture analysis or an initial consultation and the therapist will assess you and tell you what is actually going on. If the treatment you had in mind is the wrong one, we will say so.
We are at Carlton Chambers, 5 Station Road, Bromley BR2 0EY. The entrance is the red side gate to the right of the building, which people often walk past. It is a three-minute walk from Shortlands station, and there is free and paid parking on Station Road.
No. You can book directly with us. If we think you need to see your GP or a specialist rather than us, we will tell you that at the assessment rather than treating you anyway.
Comfortable clothing you can move in. For most treatments you will be asked to undress to your comfort level and you are covered with a towel throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered.
Sometimes, depending on the treatment. Deep tissue and sports massage can leave you tender for a day or so, which is normal. Swedish massage should not. Anything that feels like sharp pain rather than a dull ache is worth ringing us about on 07896 257328.
